MODESTO HAS A NEW TEAM, AND IT WAS BUILT FOR THIS CITY
The Modesto Roadsters are professional baseball with a style, spirit, and identity rooted in Modesto itself. Announced on November 24, 2025, the Roadsters were created to reflect the energy of this community, from its classic car culture and neon nostalgia to its pride, creativity, and love of the game.
This is not just a baseball team with a name on the front of the jersey. It is a club built to celebrate what makes Modesto different.
WHY THE NAME ROADSTERS
The Roadsters identity was chosen to connect directly to the culture and history of Modesto. The brand draws from the city’s deep connection to cruising, classic cars, American Graffiti-era style, and the bright, bold personality that makes this place unforgettable. The team’s look also incorporates the San Joaquin kit fox, a species native to the region, through the club mascot, Cruiser.
The result is a team identity that feels local, unmistakable, and full of motion.
BUILT FOR MODESTO, WITH MODESTO TALENT
The Roadsters’ primary logos and visual identity were created by Modesto-based creatives Greg Gallup and Andie Kat of Slightly Obsessed Studios, in close collaboration with team owner Dave Heller. The fast-paced project encompassed the full development of the team’s creative platform, including logos, characters, typography, and supporting visual elements.
That matters. This brand was not imported. It was created here, by people who understand the culture, history, and visual language of this community. The official announcement described the identity as a celebration of Modesto’s cruising culture, bright spirit, and local pride.

The Roadsters are committed to creating an exciting fan experience, supporting local charities and nonprofits, and building strong, lasting connections across the Central Valley. From promotions and themed nights to community partnerships and accessible family entertainment, the goal is simple: make Roadsters games a point of pride for Modesto.

PART OF MAIN STREET BASEBALL
The Modesto Roadsters are operated by Main Street Baseball, which also manages other professional clubs including the Quad Cities River Bandits, Wilmington Blue Rocks, and Billings Mustangs. According to the team’s official release, Main Street Baseball has been recognized for innovation, community impact, championships, and ballpark experience across its portfolio of clubs.
That experience helps power the vision in Modesto: a team that is locally inspired, professionally run, and focused on delivering memorable nights at the ballpark.
