Promotions, Fireworks, and Giveaways Highlight New Chapter for Modesto Baseball
When the Modesto Roadsters take the field in May, it will not just be about baseball, it will be about the full experience. From themed nights and community events to high-energy promotions and family-first entertainment, the Roadsters are building something bigger than the game itself. This is baseball reimagined for Modesto. More energy. More value. More reasons to come back.
The Modesto Roadsters have officially begun building their inaugural roster, announcing the first group of players invited to Spring Training this May. Under Pioneer League guidelines, these signings represent invitations to compete for a spot on the active roster, setting the stage for a highly competitive camp. As names continue to be added, the foundation of Roadsters baseball is starting to come into focus.
On warm Central Valley nights, under the glow of stadium lights and the hum of anticipation, something familiar is coming back to Modesto. After years without a hometown club, professional baseball returns in May 2026, bringing with it more than just a game. It brings back a tradition, a gathering place, and a renewed sense of pride for a community ready to rally behind its team once again.
On March 14, nearly 50 hopeful athletes stepped onto the field in Modesto with one goal: earn a shot at professional baseball. By the end of the day, three standout players rose above the competition, securing invitations to the Modesto Roadsters’ Spring Training camp this May. For many, it was a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. For a select few, it was the first step toward wearing “Modesto” across their chest.
